Joanne started dancing since she was in standard 6. She did not learn and attend any dance lessons but started to express her dance’s journey by self-learn video. She was performing her first dance at her kinder garden’s graduation ceremony. After that, she found dances is interesting and continue to perform at school until present. In 2009, she was joining a dance crew which is combining with two great Penang dance crews, Miracle Creator and Mamakroteez. Finally become Collabozonk, Zonker. She was one of the choreographers in this crew and giving training for the crew members.
Joanne was used to giving lessons for those who do not know how to dance and lead them to a formal performance. She was participating in 8TV Showdown 2010 with her crew, Collabozonk. Currently, she is studying at Han Chiang College, School of Mass Communication in Penang.
However, she believes that dance is no boundaries. No matter who you are, you have to believe that you can dance.
